Happy I Love to Read month! Guess which book my wordle is about?

To make your own book wordle, follow these instructions:

Directions: Think of your favorite book… but don’t say it aloud. Now fill out the responses below:
1. What genre is? (Circle): mystery sci-fi adventure humorous realistic fantasy
2. Who is the main character?
3. What are three adjectives you would use to describe this book?
4. What are 4 nouns that describe either events or types of characters in this book? (example: let’s say you were doing Charlotte’s Web: pig, spider, web, etc)
5. Where does this story take place? (Use one word to answer this question-if it takes place in several areas, choose one)
Write 2 short phrases ending with an “-ing” verb to explain things that happen in the book. (ex: exploring, fighting, dancing)

Now take all of these responses (including the genre) and type them in at www.wordle.net to make a word cloud. Happy wordling!
Print it off and give it to your favorite librarian. Have kids guess what book it is!
